How To Program Your New Remote Control

Step 1: Find Your Device Code

1. Scroll Down to Find the 4-digit Code for your Device Manufacturer
2.  OR Look up your device's manufacturer code HERE
3. Write down or memorize the corresponding code or codes.

Step 2: Program Your Remote

1. Turn on your device (TV, DVD, etc.) manually or using the original remote control.
2. Press and hold the device button on your new remote (e.g. 'TV', 'DVD', 'CBL', 'SAT') until the LED light on the remote blinks twice.
3. Enter the device code you found earlier. The LED light on the remote should blink twice again.

Step 3: Test Your Remote

1. Point your remote at your device.
2. Press the 'Power' button (or the equivalent button if there isn't a 'Power' button).
3. If your device turns off, the remote is programmed correctly.
4. If your device does not turn off, repeat steps 2 and 3 with the next code from your device's manufacturer.

Troubleshooting

If you're unable to program your remote using the above instructions, here are a few things you can try:

1. Double-check the device code: Ensure that you've correctly entered the code for your device's manufacturer.

2. Try all codes: Sometimes, a manufacturer has more than one code. Make sure to try all codes listed for your device.

3. Reset the remote: If you're having trouble, you may need to reset your remote and start the programming process over.
